"Maria and Dionysis Papanikolopoulos are my parents and the owners of the winery. My dad produced his first bottles of wine back in 70s when he realised that he really loves the traditional process of winemaking. So they both built their first winery back in 1994.

My dream since I was a child was to take over the winery and work with my parents. I studied Chemical Engineering and returned in Lefkada to combine my knowledge and passion for natural wines with their experience. We own 1.8 hectares of organic vineyards in the mountainous area of Lefkada island. We produce 4 natural and 4 organic wines made with indigenous types of grape. Brousko and Keropatis are made with the main red grape of the island called Vertzami. Vardea is the main white grape of the island while Chlori is a rare grape in Lefkada which was mainly cultivated on the mountains." -Vasilis Papanikolopoulos
