Georgas Family is a small artisan winery with high nutrive quality products of local indigenous grape varieties, with an exprerience more than 28 years. Spata is an old Athens suburb 20km, SE from the center. Its next to ATH airport, accesible by urban buses, and Metro station Peania-Kantza (blue line)
A Slow Food farm which ensures that "the wine quality starts from the vineyard" and the vine local ecosystem, which promotes soil fertility, adequate for quality grape products
A number of character wines, zero-zero, natural and PetNat, mainly of indigenous varieties of Savatiano, Mandilari, Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, as well as non-alcohol, grape products like grape juice, grape soda are available for tasting.
A small option of privet wine tours with short / long wine tasting at the vineyards or the winery are available on request. An early notice -a day ahead min- with the number of visitors is really usefull, in order to prepare the local appetizers menu and schedule your wine tour you like.
