About
2022 Weissburgunder Porphyr soils · 50% old French oak · 50% stainless steel A precise and quietly expressive Weissburgunder grown on volcanic porphyr – shaped by stony tension and gentle depth. The grapes were directly pressed and fermented spontaneously: 50% in used French oak barrels, 50% in stainless steel. This gives the wine a balance of purity and texture, without ever feeling heavy. On the nose and palate, ripe yellow stone fruit – apricot, peach, mirabelle – leads the way. A silky mid-palate builds gentle weight and flow, carried through to a long, salty, and fresh finish. This is a quietly confident wine: refined, versatile, and full of energy. It pairs beautifully with delicate dishes – fish, poultry, steamed vegetables – or shines all on its own on a warm summer evening.
