Our wine history starts from 2019, when me (Giorgi Chichinadze) and my brother (Irakli Chichinadze) bought abounded vineyard in Village Asureti. Vineyard is situated on the right slope of the Algeti River, Asureti micro zone, Region Kvemo Kartli. The soil is predominantly clay and basalt stones. The altitude above sea level is 545 meters. We own 2 hectares of vineyards. One hectare was planted in 1995 (Asuretuli Shavi, Tavkveri, Saperavi, Chinuri, Goruli Mtsvane), Another hectare was planted by me in 2020 (Goruli Mtsvane).
Currenty we produce around 3000 bottles per year, but in future our production will increase up to 6000 bottles considering new harvest from new vines. We focus only on dry wines. From the old vineyard we make blends: amber (Chinuri, Goruli Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli) and red (Asuretuli Shavi, Tavkveri, Saperavi) and from young vineyard we make white wine no skin contact (Goruli Mtsvane).Fermentation goes on wild yeast. Wines are fermented and aged in steel tanks. We don’t use sulfites.
We treat vineyard with copper (we try to use tiny dose of copper), sulfur and biological fungicides. All vineyard work is done by hand, only spraying by tractor.
The Cellar (Marani) is located in the vineyards.
We use only our grapes.
Harvest usually takes place in the beginning of September, depends on the weather.
We are member of Natural wine association.
