The name Lokokina means “snail” in Georgian — a tribute to the unique terroir, where the land is filled with compressed marine fossils that give the soil its mineral complexity and personality.
I work only with old vines, no younger than 20 years, and focus on rare, indigenous Imeretian grape varieties. All of my wines are fermented and aged in traditional Georgian qvevri, using only wild, native yeasts. I don’t filter my wines and use very little sulfites, allowing the wine to remain natural, expressive, and alive.
I produce both still and sparkling wines, driven by a deep respect for the grape, the land, and the ancient winemaking traditions of Georgia.
My mission is to craft honest, soulful wines that tell the story of this land — its soil, its history, and its natural beauty.
No rose wines at the moment.
