Le Cri de L'Araignée - Olivier Trombetta
Mourvèdre, Grenache & Carignan are the 3 grape varieties that make up this estate. Olivier, responsible for wine estates for more than 20 years in the region, took over these scrubland-type lands in 2014. Respect for nature and fruit are his primary concerns. Weed control is mechanical, no insecticides or chemicals are used. It only uses sulfur and copper in low doses to treat the vine.
The harvest is manual and the grapes are carefully sorted cluster by cluster. The greatest care is taken in this small harvest which varies depending on the year between 30 and 35hl / ha.
Olivier follows a process of producing natural wine. No input, little or no sulfur, only indigenous yeasts, no fining, no acidification, and a little filtration only if necessary ... these are the ingredients for obtaining a free, living wine respecting the health of the winegrower and consumer.
Olivier is a founding and active member of the collective La Nouvelle Lune.
