Our name, "OBRIÈRES," means "worker" in Occitan, a tribute to our beginnings in the trade as vineyard laborers, but also to the manual skills we perpetuate, from pruning to harvesting. Our playground, 8 hectares of organic vines, flourishes on the hillsides between Béziers and Montagnac, a natural haven surrounded by reeds and pine forests where nature speaks for itself. Our approach is resolutely scientific, combining respect for living organisms with technical precision. In the vineyard, we analyze our soils and promote biodiversity with green manures: legumes to enrich them with nitrogen and grasses to provide organic matter. In the cellar, we work closely with an oenologist to refine our natural winemaking protocols. We analyze the grapes and musts (pH, nitrogen) to optimize fermentation without any deviations. The use of sulfited starter cultures allows us to select the best indigenous yeasts, guaranteeing a controlled and harmonious fermentation. Because making natural wine isn't about doing nothing; on the contrary, it's about guiding each step with precision and exacting standards. Our wines reflect this philosophy: pure, authentic, precise, and bursting with flavor. Nothing but fermented grapes, with no additives, using indigenous yeasts, and less than 30 mg of sulfites at bottling.
No orange wines at the moment.
