Back to basics, Aline lovingly tends the vines, respecting the nature of the soil: green manures, herbal teas, and decoctions. A light tilling of the soil is done when necessary. Then comes the winemaking process, which is respectful of the grapes: the harvest is done by hand, and the sorting is very selective to keep only the healthiest grapes. Natural wines are the result of a philosophical choice aimed at rediscovering the natural expression of the terroir. Sensations, intuition, and the influence of the moon take precedence over technology. The wines are intended to be pure and, preferably, single-varietal (Macabeu, Muscat, Grenache, Lledoner Pelut, Carignan, etc.) to allow them to draw their typicity from their respective terroirs (Gneiss, Schist, Black Marl, etc.). Aline aims to showcase the geological richness of the Agly Valley and its indigenous grape varieties.
