Our wines come from the vines of our family estate of Peyrat, in Charente, located between Cognac and Jarnac.
Cultivated using organic farming methods for 25 years, our vineyard covers 25 hectares dedicated to the production of Cognac and 2 hectares devoted to our natural wine cuvées.
These come from a clay-limestone plot called "Les Champs du Devant", characterized by the presence of platins — a bank of flat, limestone stones outcropping on the surface of the ground.
We exclusively produce AB certified eaux-de-vie, as well as small batches of natural wines made from our white grape varieties: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard.
Through our cultivation practices, we seek to fully express our terroir by promoting soil life and biodiversity. We sow our rows of vines with grasses, cruciferous plants, and legumes to naturally structure the soil.
We also sometimes collaborate with local organic winegrowers to purchase red grape varieties on the vine, in order to complement our blends.
Each wine is a natural extension of the work carried out in the vineyard: all our grapes are hand-harvested, pressed, and vinified without additives, exclusively using indigenous yeasts. Bottling is done by us, directly at the estate.
Our wines, produced in small batches, thus reflect the unique character of each plot, grape variety and vintage.
Today, we offer two wines: a dry white and a naturally sparkling wine. We hope to expand this range over the years, depending on the quality of the vintages.
