Anne Buiatti

A winemaker and trained agricultural engineer, Anne Buiatti has worked in several vineyards in France and elsewhere. After 10 years in Languedoc Roussillon, she found her home in the Bordeaux region, in the Graves, in Saint Morillon, 30 minutes south of Bordeaux, where, with Grégoire, she fell under the spell of an old farmhouse surrounded by forests, meadows, and gravelly hillsides.

It was here that the project to make their own wine began in 2016, driven by a taste for creativity, freedom, love of the land and of nature.

The vineyard comprises 4 hectares of vines on gravelly soils surrounding the estate, in addition to one hectare of Syrah on schist soils in Calce, Roussillon. This vine, a jewel of its heritage from the South, is cultivated without any chemical inputs. All the grapes are vinified in the Saint Morillon winery in Gironde, resulting in natural and original wines crafted with precision and passion.

New vintages will soon be available, from young vines planted in 2021 on stakes near the estate: old forgotten grape varieties such as Castet, Mérille, Carménère planted in the middle of the forest: agroforestry naturally!

The project goes beyond wine: orchards, chickens, sheep, beehives are an integral part of the organization of life on the estate: a peasant production, respectful of nature, where hands and nature are precious allies in everyday life.
