In 2010, Alexis de Benoist returned to his family lands with a clear idea: to revive a vineyard that had been dormant for almost a century and write a new chapter in its history.
Over the years, the estate has been built around a strong conviction: to reveal the full potential of the Mâconnais and Beaujolais through a demanding interpretation, inspired by the great wines of northern Burgundy.
The vineyard now covers 9.5 hectares, cultivated organically, across the Mâcon-Cruzille, Côteaux-Bourguignons, Beaujolais-Villages, and Mâcon-Villages appellations. In the cellar, Alexis favors minimal intervention winemaking: controlled extractions, aging tailored to each cuvée, and limited use of sulfur, in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit.
The wines are distinguished by their straightforwardness, maturity, and structure. These are wines for fine dining and sharing, both precise and generous, which embrace their power while remaining true to their terroir.
