In 1996, he began making his own wines, initially using conventional methods, before deciding to follow the principles of Jules Chauvet. Today, the estate comprises 12 hectares of Gamay vines on the granitic soils of the Monts de Brouilly. A significant portion of his vineyard consists of old vines. To best preserve the microbiological life of the grapes and the soil, all vineyard work is carried out using organic farming practices. No additives are used in the vineyard or the cellar; the grapes undergo extremely meticulous sorting at harvest time to retain only the very best; and the winemaking process is gentle and virtually non-interventionist. This meticulous work in the vineyards and the cellar allows him to produce wines of great delicacy, full-bodied, fresh, and incredibly easy to drink.
