We are a couple of winegrowers who work on a small 7-hectare organic farm, between 350 and 400 m above sea level, facing south, on sandstone soils in the heart of the Ardèche Cévennes.
We have chosen to work our vines using organic farming methods, with a view to respecting and protecting nature. Therefore, we only use natural products (essential oils, trace elements, copper, sulfur). We grass the soil and enrich it with organic matter (manure, compost, etc.). We carry out a lot of manual work in the green (disbudding, lifting, leaf stripping, etc.). Our harvests are done exclusively by hand to preserve the grapes.
Some of our grapes are vinified by us to produce organic wines and natural method wines ; the rest is sold to merchants.
In the same spirit, we vinify as naturally as possible. For winemaking, we use only indigenous yeasts (which are naturally found on the grapes). We do not fin or filter, and we do not use sulfites.
The management of our organic farm followed by these winemaking methods allows us to claim the “Vin Méthode Nature” label.
No orange wines at the moment.
