The vineyards are in a single block, situated between 400 and 500 meters above sea level with a southeast exposure. The grape varieties grown are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a small amount of Mondeuse, with Altesse planted this spring. We cultivate 4.5 hectares using organic farming methods (currently in conversion) and we have a natural approach to winemaking.
Therefore, no oenological additives such as filtration or fining, and minimal manipulation of the juices and wines. The same applies to sulfur; we only add it at bottling and only if we deem it necessary, which is quite rarely.
The vines are worked mechanically for inter-row cultivation and treatments. But above all, a great deal of time is spent on each vine by hand. We would like to experiment with agroforestry on one plot.
The grapes are harvested by hand, in 14 kg crates. We are very enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about wines, with 10 years of experience in various wine regions (Jura, Pic St Loup, Côte du Rhône, Cornas...).
We have just bottled our wines for the estate. For us, wine is the expression of a juice from a grape variety and a vintage, imbued with the essence of the terroir and the energy of the winemakers! These three aspects are essential to us and must be reflected in the bottle.
