In 2019, he settled in Marignan, in Savoie, where he acquired his first plots of vines. This project also represents a return to his roots: his grandfather, André Goddard, had also developed an agricultural activity on this same land.
Today, the estate covers approximately four hectares cultivated using organic farming methods, with minimal intervention both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Fermentation is spontaneous, vinification is carried out without unnecessary additives, and the wines are generally bottled unfiltered and with very little, if any, added sulfur.
The estate's flagship grape variety is Chasselas , a historic variety particularly widespread and appreciated across the border in Switzerland. Damien also cultivates Pinot Noir , Gamay , as well as a few plots of Altesse and Mondeuse , resulting in wines of great precision, marked by their freshness, minerality, and a beautiful expression of the Savoyard terroir.
