An unusual blend of Riesling from the Bannwarth family in Alsace, blended with a little Viognier from the Oustrics in Valvignères. The two varieties fermented together and were aged in old barriques for almost three years, resulting in a wine that, as you might expect, offers the best of both worlds, pairing the tension, minerals and spice of Alsace’s noble variety with a little southern charm.
