My name is Lucas Pfister, winemaker of 40/40 in Ugarteche, Mendoza, Argentina. I make wine with organic/biodynamic (not certified) grapes putting our focus on a sustainable production and respect for our land. The low winemaking intervention is what i call wine with no make up (good grapes=good wine). This means fermentations are done with indigenous yeasts and bacteria. Wine is made only with fermented grapes (just some low dosis of SO2 is used). The aim is to produce honest wines that describe our terroir and working filosophy.
