Inebriati is an estate created in 2010 with only 2 hectares of vines leased to the Beauthorey estate, which has been practicing organic and biodynamic agriculture since 1994. To date, the estate is around 6 hectares. Located at the northern end of the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation area (Corconne and Vacquières), the vines are planted in the middle of the scrubland, surrounded by limestone cliffs. The terroir is known under the name “Gravette”, which offers Pic-Saint-Loup one of its most famous terroirs. These are angular limestone pebbles from the erosion of the cliffs, mixed with brown earth. The soil has the particularity of remaining very cool in summer, of being very draining and of great depth. The region's Mediterranean climate is characterized by hot and rather dry summers, and we benefit from heavy rainfall in autumn, characteristic of the Cévennes foothills. The grapes are picked by hand in boxes, sorted, and vatted by gravity. Winemaking is always done without oenological products, wanting to stay as close as possible to the intimate nature of our terroir, to produce lively and precise wines. The wines are racked before and after winter, in order to obtain natural clarification. They may or may not be sulfurized at 2 gr/hecto (20mg/l) at the second racking or at filling, depending on the tasting experience.
No rose wines at the moment.
