BAKKANALI is a winery located in Seggiano, on the North/West side of Monte Amiata, exactly 600 m above sea level. We have 8.5 hectares of vines mostly Sangiovese, with the exception of one hectare of Cabernet Sauvignon and another hectare of Chardonnay. We cultivate our vineyards according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture, to try to give a clear picture of the place and its season. In the cellar we prefer long gestations that welcome the microcosm of the place, we use containers of various types, mostly neutral and porous, we do not disdain stalks and whole bunch fermentations with carbonic macerations for 10/12 days.
