Domaine de Peyra is a commercial company, which buys grapes, those of three people, Boris Garnier, worker of the estate, Jean Maupertuis former partner of the gaec of Domaine de Peyra, and Stéphane Majeune, manager of the company. The estate vinifies around 300 hl of wine, mainly Gamay, mainly red. It is located in the heart of Auvergne in the heart of Puy de Dôme, on the coasts of Allier, the slopes of Limagne. The clay-limestone soils partially influenced by basalt rubble, linked to the volcanism of the region, bring notes full of spices and minerality in the wines of the estate. The estate vinifies all its wines without intervention, without chemicals, the grapes are harvested manually, with important sorting, they are all as ripe as possible and as healthy as possible.
