Pétouin et Enragé is an estate founded in 2021 by Romain Arnould, Xavier Billet and Pierre Le Nen. This project was born from a meeting in the vineyards of the Domaine de la Sénéchalière (Marc Pesnot), where the 3 acolytes were employed. The plots are located in the commune of Loroux-Bottereau, in the heart of Muscadet, on soils of serpentinite, leptynite and gneiss. The grape varieties grown are Burgundy melon and Folle Blanche. In the vineyard, the estate is cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, but not certified. No synthetic chemistry, only controlled doses of sulfur and copper thanks to supplements of herbal teas, manure and essential oils. Our principles: gentle size in Guyot Poussard, controlled yields and respect for life. In the cellars, the wines are pressed for a long time at low pressure in whole bunches, then ferment naturally without starter. Aging of 8 to 12 months on lees. Soft bottling by gravity. No addition of SO2 when possible, as on our first vintage (2021).

Pétouin et Enragé est un domaine fondé en 2021 par Romain Arnould, Xavier Billet et Pierre Le Nen. 
Ce projet est né d’une rencontre dans les vignes du domaine de la Sénéchalière (Marc Pesnot), où les 3 acolytes étaient employés. 
Les parcelles sont situées sur la commune du Loroux-Bottereau, en plein coeur du Muscadet, sur des terroirs de serpentinite, de leptynite et de gneiss. Les cépages cultivés sont le melon de Bourgogne et la folle blanche. 
À la vigne, le domaine est cultivé selon les principes de l’agriculture biologique, mais non certifié. Pas de chimie de synthèse, seulement des doses maitrisées de soufre et de cuivre grâce à des compléments de tisanes, purins et huiles essentielles. 
Nos principes : taille douce en Guyot Poussard, rendements maitrisés et respect du vivant. 
Au chais, les vins sont pressés longuement à faible pression en grappe entière, puis fermentent naturellement sans pied de cuve. 
Élevage de 8 à 12 mois sur lies. Embouteillage doux par gravité. Pas d'ajout de SO2 lorsque cela est possible, comme sur notre premier millésime (2021).
