THE SITE: In a magical place steeped in history "of the hills of paradise" (Roman era), our vineyard has been worked in cosmoculture® (certified organic) since 1990. Since 1999, we have been making great wines in a veritable cathedral built in Pont du Pont stone. du Gard according to the architectural rules of the great builders. We start from the principle that wine is a living product that follows natural cycles and its influences. We built this cellar in the continuity of our philosophy of working in the vineyard to put the wine in optimal conditions. The shapes, the volumes, the thirteen columns and the heart here have a preponderant role in the energetic and vibratory exchanges, in order to enhance the wines during the successive cycles of aging and conservation. Built on the principle of the golden ratio (rule of the architecture of the Builders of Great Egypt), the cellar is made of stone blocks of 3 to 6 tons each. THE VINEYARD : The starting point was the awareness of the quality of their land. The unique characteristics of the soils and the ideal geographical exposure of the vineyard (due south, at an altitude between 250 and 300 m) allow a harvest to be obtained that is richer in the compounds necessary for the production of great wines: soil rich in clay, limestone , pebbly and often deep. All the most famous varieties of the Côtes du Rhône are represented and each bring their identity and complexity to the wines. The black grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, old Carignans. The white grape varieties: Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc. A great diversity of grape varieties (25 referenced), from mass selection, with an average age of 40 years with hundred-year-old vines which suggests the value of the wines.
