Can Sumoi, a high-altitude estate that since 1645 has been working with local varieties and unique soils, is the highest integrated estate in Penedès 600 meters above sea level. It has a main winery and farmhouse dating back to the end of the 17th century where wine used to be made, a house for the tenant farmers, a poultry yard, 20 hectares of vineyard planted with Montonega and Sumoll and 380 hectares of woodland. We are reinstating the biodynamic farming practices of Can Sumoi, which first began in 1645 and we make high-altitude naturals wines which the least possible intervention in the processes of viticulture and wine-making.
