The Terres du Gaugalin are located in the foothills of the Rhône valley. The plots of vines planted in terraces and surrounded by many species of trees have a bird's eye view of the Dentelles de Montmirail and the northwest face of Mont-Ventoux. This little corner of paradise deserves our full attention. The vines are in organic conversion and we apply all our energy to cultivate these lands with respect for the living. From agronomic experimentation to biodynamic applications, our objective is to find the balance of the soil according to the needs of the vine. Hence the word GAUGALIN ... It is for our Provençal roots that we chose it. Meaning COQUELICOT in the language of Pagnol, it is an indicator of healthy lands. These lands are our common thread as artisans winemakers respectful of life and we want more than anything to see the plots and hedges cover with red! We have protected our grapes in a natural and organic process. The harvest was carried out manually in small cases and without transport. We vinified outdoors near the vines, with destemming by hand and crushing with feet. Fermentation, on the other hand, was done with indigenous yeasts, without any oenological aid or the addition of sulfur. It’s a natural wine! After fermentation, the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks and in an old oak barrel for 6 months. No sulfur was added to the bottling.

Les Terres du Gaugalin sont situées sur les contreforts de la vallée du Rhône. Les parcelles de vignes plantées en terrasses et entourées de nombreuses espèces d’arbres ont une vue plongeante sur les Dentelles de Montmirail et la face Nord-Ouest du Mont-Ventoux. 
Ce petit coin de paradis mérite toute notre attention. Les vignes sont en conversion biologique et nous appliquons toute notre énergie à cultiver ces terres avec le respect du vivant. De l’expérimentation agronomique aux applications biodynamiques, notre objectif est de trouver l’équilibre du sol en fonction des besoins de la vigne.
D’où le mot GAUGALIN… C’est pour nos racines provençales que nous l’avons choisi. Signifiant COQUELICOT dans la langue de Pagnol, c’est un indicateur des terres saines. Ces terres sont notre fil rouge en tant qu’artisans vignerons respectueux du vivant et nous souhaitons plus que tout voir les parcelles et les haies se couvrir de rouge !

Nous avons protégé notre raisin dans une démarche naturelle et biologique.
La vendange s’est effectuée manuellement en petites caisses et sans transport. Nous avons vinifié en extérieur à proximité des vignes, avec un éraflage à la main et un foulage aux pieds.
La fermentation, quant à elle, s’est faite avec les levures indigènes, sans aucun auxiliaire œnologique ou d’ajout de soufre. C’est un vin nature !
Après fermentation, le vin a été élevé en cuve inox et dans un vieux fût de chêne pendant 6 mois. Aucun souffre n’a été ajouté à la mise en bouteille.
