Pierre Benetière is what is called a peasant-winemaker. He works his soil manually, in organic non certified since about fifteen years, he does not use weed killer. It produces three to four vintages, depending on the year, two on the Condrieu appellation and one to two on the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Always away from the spotlight, he does not participate in any show and presents his wines to no journalists yet his wines please. Confidential production: only 800 cases per year. Native yeasts, unfiltered, unglued wines.
