Driven by great passion, Franco Zanovello founded the company in 1977. Today, his children Marco and Linda lead it with commitment, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, supported by a team of expert and motivated collaborators. The 25 hectares of vineyard, together with 15 hectares of olive groves, woods and pastures, are located in the heart of the Colli Euganei Regional Park, now recognized as a UNESCO MaB.
In the vineyard we work with extreme care, following the dictates of organic farming and carrying out many operations by hand to preserve the natural balance and biodiversity. This approach allows us to enhance the different βcrusβ present in the territory without forcing production, favoring the varieties best suited to the increasingly warm and dry climate.
Study, research and experimentation have always been an integral part of Ca' Lustra's identity. In the cellar we work with microvinifications, spontaneous fermentations, no clarification and a minimal use of sulphites. Furthermore, to reduce our environmental impact, we adopt sustainable solutions, such as the use of lightweight glass and the use of renewable energy.
The winery shop is open every day. We are happy to welcome visitors and provide information about the Euganean Hills and our company. You can taste our wines and take part in various tasting tours. For those who simply want to relax, overlooking the Faedo valley, you can enjoy a glass of wine in peace, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.
