Marcobarba is a brand born from the collaboration between Marco Bertoldo and Stefano Menti, who together developed a project aimed at the recovery and management of some abandoned vineyards owned by elderly widows, in the area between Lonigo and Gambellara.
The Barbaboyz, as well as the current employees of Menti, produce Marcobarba wines, sharing a passion for respect for nature and biodynamics.
Straightforward and genuine wines, born from grapes of mixed varieties, some known, others not.
The fermentations are spontaneous, only with indigenous yeasts, no filtration and, when possible, no addition of sulfur dioxide.
Every year, around 40,000 bottles are produced, exported and appreciated in almost 50 countries around the world.
