Born in Nantes, I entered the profession with a bts viti-oeno in 2005. I settled in 2016 on 0.4 Ha with the plot named Les Charrusseaux. It is adjacent to the village of Laures located in the town of Vallet in Loire-Atlantique, a Mecca for Muscadet if there is one to make my wine. Gradually and until 2021, I worked together the granite, micashist and amphibolite terroirs with the emblematic grape varieties of the region, such as melon de bourgogne, Folle Blanche and Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon on a surface total 2.7 Ha. In 2022, the adventure continues in the Drôme, in Die in the country of Clairette. I am relocating there with 2 Ha, clay-limestone soil, all in one piece at the foot of the Aure tower ;-). The local grape varieties are Clairette Blanche and Muscat Petits Grains. Together, we discuss at length in order to understand each other so that each year, a wine results. Coming from a soil, a grape variety, a climate and the practice of loyal, local and constant customs, I strive to transmit my passion through work that respects the living. In the cellar, if nothing disturbs its natural birth and its ageing, the wine may have received a maximum of 2 g of sulfur per hectolitre of wine before bottling. Then little by little, gradually, the choice to do without any input was fully realized with the 2021 vintage. To be continued… If wine is the noblest of beverages, it should be restored to its former glory by taking care of it. And together, we will begin to take care of everything that binds us.

Né à Nantes, je rentre dans le métier avec l’obtention d’un bts viti-oeno en 2005.

Je m’installe en 2016 sur 0.4 Ha avec la parcelle nommée Les Charrusseaux. Elle est attenante au village des Laures située sur la commune de Vallet en Loire-Atlantique,  haut lieu du Muscadet s’il en est pour faire mon vin . Progressivement et jusqu’en 2021,  j’ai travaillé conjointement les terroirs de granit, de micashistes et d’amphibolite avec les cépages emblématiques de la région, tels que le melon de bourgogne, la folle blanche et les cabernets franc et sauvignon sur une surface totale 2.7 Ha.

En 2022, l’aventure continue dans la Drôme, à Die au pays de la clairette. Je m’y ré-installe avec 2 Ha, terroir d’argilo-calcaire, d’un seul tenant au pied de la tour de l’Aure  ;-). Les cépages autochtones sont la clairette blanche et  le muscat petits grains.

Ensemble, nous discutons longuement afin de se comprendre pour que chaque année, il en résulte un vin. Issu d’un sol, d’un cépage, d’un climat et de la pratique d’usages loyaux, locaux et constants, je m’applique à transmettre ma passion au travers d’un travail respectueux du vivant.

Au chai, si rien ne vient troubler sa naissance naturel ainsi que son élevage, le vin a pu recevoir 2 gr de soufre maximum par hectolitre de vin avant sa mise en bouteille. Puis petit à petit, progressivement, le choix de se passer de tout intrant s’est réalisé intégralement avec le millésime 2021. A suivre…

Si le vin est la plus noble des boissons il convient de lui rendre ces lettres de noblesse en prenant soin de lui. Et ensemble, nous commencerons à prendre soin de tout ce qui nous lie.
