Kohki Iwata, a young winegrower of Japanese origin who arrived in France ten years ago, offers us wines from his Hérault business WA Sud. After prestigious internships with leading figures of nature such as Olivier Cousin or Jean Foillard, Kohki turned in 2015 to the Domaine des Soulié in Saint Chinian, a vineyard run organically since 1960. The 27 hectare estate, located 250 meters away altitude on clay-limestone soil, part of an ecological approach: the area is 100% autonomous in green electricity. It was only a year later in 2016 that he made his first purchases of grapes at the same estate and that he vinified in the area in complete confidentiality. AB and Ecocert certified, we are also working in the cellar more than natural, clean wines, without inputs and therefore without sulfur.
