GOGOwine/Artanuli Gvino is a family winery.
Kakha Berishvili started to make the wine in Qvevri, with traditional Kakhetian method in 2006 and Keti Berishvili (daughter) joined him from 2015.
The family owns 4 hectares of vineyards with Saperavi and Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri Mtsvane grape varieties in Village Artana, Napareuli micro zone, Kakheti Region, on the south slope of the Caucasian mountains. We treat vineyard only with biological fungicides and tiny doses of copper.
The distance from vineyard to wine cellar (Marani) is 1 kilometre.
We use our own grapes, but, in hard years, friends helped us with their grapes, too.
Harvest is usually at the end of September, sometimes in the middle, it depends always on year.
Vinification with Zero interventions, also at bottling.
No sparkling wines at the moment.
