Regarding the environment, natural water, nutrition and particularly in terms of wine. A healthy soil is the key to remarkable and exciting wines. Especially if no boundaries are being set for the development of wines in our cellars. My way is biodynamic farming 2.0! The question was always: Is a vineyard only a vineyard or can it be much more? Like a biodiversity area... Means biodyn is much more than using the biodyn preparates only; its a way of different thinking and a way of circular farming... We try to have all of the herbs what we use for teas, extracts and ethereal oils (for vineyard spraying) cultivated in our vineyards; because it creates also a biodiversity area and gives a real uinque charakter to the terroir and in the end to the wines. Sheeps, chickens and some "Kune Kune" pigs are in the vineyards to graze inbetween of the vines. The idea is a multiple usage of our vineyards. We've planted trees and bushes on the eastern sides of our southern slope vineyards as natural aircondition but also to give nature a piece of land back.
