Chez Pithon-Paillé on fait des vins naturels bien droits. Des Anjous, des Saumur-Champigny. Et on fait Grololo. Avec du groslot, un cépage ancien, travaillé ici en canon franc, à très haute buvabilité. Ça sert à tout : à étancher la soif, à accompagner le pâté croûte, à impressionner ceux qui se rappellent de « comment on faisait le vin avant », à accompagner une blanquette, à consoler d’un chagrin. Et comme c’est léger, on peut même le boire en été.
The biggest note I could get was like an under-ripe, fresh off the bush blackberry. Had a lot of great acidity. Super tasty.
Le nez révèle un bouquet gourmand sur les fruits de fruits rouges frais. En bouche, le vin est souple et gouleyant. Un vin sur le fruit et la fraicheur.
