Domaine Jean-Baptiste Arena

Jean-Baptiste Arena

3 9 9241 KM

After studying law, the oldest member of the Arena family, Jean-Baptiste, returned to the estate in 2003. His younger brother, who arrived in 2004, rather "specialized" in cellar work, preferring that in the vines. It is for example Jean-Baptiste who initiated the transition from "organic" to "biodynamic" ... Since 2014, Jean-Baptiste has taken over the terroir of Grotte di Sole, composed of nielluccio for the reds and vermentino and muscat for the whites. For the anecdote, Grotte di Sole, which means the Cave of the Sun, is a cave in the rock wall which was used by the ancients as sundial: and allowed them to know the time according to the way its entry is lit by the sun.
