Following a course in economics and rural law, a passage in the creation of a natural park in collaboration with madmen of nature (naturalists, landscapers, geologists ...) in 1996, 1997 in Paris (yes rue de vaugirard) I got plunged back into the family estate that I had fled not the estate but the atmosphere around the vineyard (90s: yield, medal, parker etcc)
I rediscovered the vineyard and the winegrowers thanks to friends, and a magazine, passionate southern winegrowers, so I settled in 2000 (after a year of working in the United States to plant vines in Seattle on an island) . Planting of hedges in 2000, plantation of Carmenere in 2001, Malbec in 2003, creation of a cellar because we were in a cooperative cellar, 1st small cuvées erraflees hand on sieve (2003,2004,2005 until 2009), creation of a orchard in 2008 with local essences then organic certification from 2009, certified demeter in 2014 (controlled by ecocert), I have always made natural wines (vinif without sulfur), I have never used insecticide (even organic !!!) , no yeasts (even organic ;-). I love grass, trees and vines, and we intervene to make this environment live as well as possible. The ideal wine is the wine that we find very expressive (of the taste), which hides its longevity behind a softness, sweet tannins, the purple color (I mainly make red wines), it must rest after fermentation (barrels, jars) for at least 1 year.
