A spirit of the vines imbued with biodynamics and permaculture. Gardener - landscaper by training, I decided to devote myself fully to the vine. You can only do this job out of passion. Experiences on several terroirs, mainly in Burgundy, followed one another before I became cultivation master on an organic vineyard in Beaujolais. I settled in May 2015 on the vineyard of Bugey on 1.5 Hectares in renting for 3 years. Then in 2021 I take over an area of 10 Hectares. The grape variety consists of 90% Melon de Bourgogne on different Cru du Muscadet, for the rest, Folle Blanche, Chardonnay, Cab Franc and Cab Sauvignon. In the vineyard, the choice of organic and biodynamic is obvious. This involves respecting the soil and the vines, avoiding pushing production to excess by aggressive means. Of course, the work is carried out respecting the lunar calendar and the rhythm of the constellations. The practice of herbal medicine is the basis of the care provided to the vine: manure, herbal teas and essential oils. The integration of the animal into the plot is part of the logic of cultivation, bringing a complex biodiversity makes it possible to balance the agrosystems. For the wines, respect for the living takes precedence, preserving the neutrality of the grape varieties and the terroirs is the spearhead of the estate. The idea is to accompany the wines to become great, like a shepherd who leads his flock, not to go in all directions. The estate has been in conversion to organic farming since 2021.

Jardinier - paysagiste de formation, j’ai décidé de me consacrer pleinement à la vigne. On ne peut faire ce métier que par passion.  Les expériences sur plusieurs terroirs, en Bourgogne principalement, s’enchaînent avant que je ne devienne maître de culture sur un vignoble bio en Beaujolais.

Je m’installe en mai 2015 sur le vignoble du Bugey sur 1.5 Hectares en fermage pendant 3 ans. Puis en 2021 je reprends un domaine de 10 Hectares. L’encépagement se compose à 90% de Melon de Bourgogne sur différents Cru du Muscadet, pour le reste, de la folle blanche, du chardonnay, des Cab Franc et Cab Sauvignon.

A la vigne, le choix du bio et de la biodynamie est une évidence. Cela implique le respect des sols, de la vigne en évitant de pousser la production à outrance par des moyens agressifs. Bien sûr, les travaux sont réalisés en respectant le calendrier lunaire et le rythme des constellations. La pratique de la phytothérapie est la base des soins apportés à la vigne : des purins, des tisanes et des huiles essentielles. L’intégration de l’animal à la parcelle fait partie de la logique de culture, apporter une biodiversité complexe permet d’équilibrer les agrosystèmes.

Pour les vins, le respect du vivant prime, préserver la neutralité des cépages et des terroirs est le fer de lance du domaine. L’idée est d’accompagner les vins à devenir grands, comme un berger qui mène son troupeau, à ne pas aller dans tous les sens.

Le domaine est en conversion en agriculture biologique depuis 2021.
