Our vines are spread across the Ammerschwihr vineyard and the neighboring villages of Kaysersberg, Kientzheim, Sigolsheim and Ribeauvillé It is a mosaic of terroirs and microclimates: from granite soils, through light sandy soils to heavier clay-limestone soils, with all types of exposure: we adapt our work to suit ; each plot, on a case-by-case basis. Certified in Organic Agriculture, we claim to be Agroecology because our philosophy draws its roots from several inspirations such as Biodynamics, Agroforestry, Soft Pruning or Living Soils, with particular attention ;era for the preservation of Biodiversity.

Throughout the year, our hands are our best tools: it is therefore with them that we work most often. This allows us to be closer to each foot. AGROFORESTRY
Agroforestry combines trees and crops on the same plot. It is an ancestral practice long forgotten in favor of industrial mechanization. excess and overproduction. Every year we plant around a hundred trees around our plots but also between the vines:

LIVING SOIL

The basis of a healthy vine is above all a living and rich soil. It allows effective water retention, facilitates root exploration, and creates growth. a fertile environment. In order to preserve and damage the flora and fauna of our soils, we make sure to always keep them covered. We therefore avoid plowing, the few mechanical works are done with light machines. Trees, natural grass cover and the use of plant cover allow us to enrich the soil with humus and make it more resilient to climatic hazards (drought, heavy rain, etc.). ;). This environment is favorable for the development of fungi, particularly mycorrhizae, which allow the connection between the different root systems. So we are no longer talking about competition but about symbiosis.
