I am familiar to the process of looking after the vine and vinification in Qvevri since my childhood, my family always made wine for it’s own use, this tradition of winemaking was strong in every family of Georgia and my family was no exception. My knowledge in winemaking is not an academic but I must say that a traditional knowledge that I have in Georgian winemaking is more than enough. My wine is organic so my way of winemaking is totally different from the industrial ways . My winery was built several years ago with a help of my friends, since then I dedicate most of my time to winemaking in Qvevri. I am also a Blacksmith but this two professions does not conflict each other, I think they are in harmony in some ways. My winery takes most of my time so you won’t be able to see any certificates proving that I participated in different seminars or exhibitions on the walls of my winery. I dedicate all of my time to my vine and the winery and I think that the result is obvious.
