Founded in 2020 by Florian Wecker, Weingut Jus Naturae stands for natural and organic wines which are the result of passionate craftsmanship and hard manual work in collaboration with nature. The winery is based in Kinheim/Germany in the Mosel valley. The old steep slope Riesling vineyards with a total area of 1,3 ha are all farmed organically. In 2024 the organic certification procedure will be completed. Besides Riesling Jus Naturae also planted a first plot of Pinot Noir in 2022. The goal of Florian Wecker is to make complex, balanced and lively wines with minimal intervention. That’s why the focus is clearly on natural wines, which are part of the Nudus wine line. The Nudus wines follow the strict definition: "nothing added - nothing removed“. Giving long time to the wines in order to find their microbiological stability and harmony is a crucial part of the Jus Naturae philosophy. Minimal intervention winemaking including spontaneous fermentation is also the approach for the second more classical wine line. Filtration and the addition of small amounts of sulfur before bottling are the only factors which distinguish these wines from the Nudus wines.
