The wines of Atrie come from 4 hectares of vines located in the town of Aizenay in the Vendée bocage on sandy loam soils including granite, schist and a little mica in places. Entirely carried out in organic farming since 2012, I took over his vines in 2018! I partially work the soil with a tractor to bury the grass and I also put sheep in the vines for a few months in winter to mow the grass and bring organic matter through their droppings on the ground. The anti-disease treatments during the vegetative season are carried out with low doses of copper and suffers to which I add liquid manure, decoctions, herbal teas; essential oils or even clay to contribute to the good natural balance of the plant. Manual harvest with local harvesters :) In the cellar, the vinifications are carried out with grape sugar and indigenous yeasts from the environment. Slow pressing, little handling of the wine (racking at the end of fermentation) and no input in the cellar (except a cuvée in 2018 with 20mg / L of SO2). The wines spend between 4 to 7 months in vats before being bottled under nitrogen. Light filtration on white earth in 2018. No filtration since 2019. All my wines are from France and from the domain; I do not trade.

Les vins de l'Atrie sont issus de 4 hectares de vignes situées sur la commune d'Aizenay dans le bocage Vendéen sur des sols limoneux sableux comprenant du granite, du schiste et un peu de mica par endroit. Entièrement conduites en agriculture biologique depuis 2012, j'ai repris ses vignes en 2018 ! Je travaille partiellement les sols au tracteur pour enfouir l'herbe et je mets également durant quelques mois l'hiver des moutons dans les vignes pour tondre l'herbe et apporter de la matière organique par leurs déjections au sol. Les traitements anti maladies durant la saison végétative sont réalisés avec des faibles doses de cuivre et souffre auxquelles j’ajoute des purins, décoctions, tisanes de plantes ; des huiles essentielles voir de l’ argile pour contribuer au bon équilibre naturel de la plante. Vendanges manuelles avec les vendangeurs (ses) locaux :)

En cave, les vinifications sont réalisées avec le sucre du raisin et les levures indigènes du milieu. Des pressurages lents, peu de manipulation du vin (un soutirage en fin de fermentation) et aucun intrant en cave (excepté une cuvée en 2018 avec 20mg/L de SO2). Les vins passent entre 4 à 7 mois en cuves avant d'être mis en bouteille sous azote. Une légère filtration sur terre blanche en 2018. Pas de filtration depuis 2019.
