Mas de la Sabatera is a farmhouse with more than 300 years of history, located in Prenafeta, in the heart of the Conca de Barbera. For centuries there are diverse families and generations that have lived from the work of the vineyards that still surround us today. We are still continuing our profession as viticulturists and we find ourselves discovering new corners within the Masia and learning more and more about its history. But it wasn't until 2020 that we decided to take the first step in making our own wines, in loving each other a little more. Through the production of wines with minimal intervention, from the plot and that speak of the environment that surrounds us, we seek to bring Mas de la Sabatera back to life. Our philosophy in the vineyards is reflected through sustainability and respect for them, which is why all our vineyards are certified organic (CCPAE), we do not use artificial irrigation or harmful chemicals. As for our philosophy in the winery, it consists of minimal intervention, in a production without ego, where the grape takes the initiative from the first moment. This translates into natural wines, which reflect the characteristics of our terroir and the environment where they grow.

Mas de la Sabatera és una Masia con más de 300 años de historia, ubicada en Prenafeta, en el corazón de la Conca de Barbera. Durante siglos son diversas las familias y generaciones que han vivido del trabajo de los viñedos que todavía nos rodean a día de hoy. Aún continuamos nuestra profesión como viticultores y nos encontramos descubriendo nuevos rincones dentro de la Masía y aprendiendo cada vez más de su historia.

Pero no fue hasta 2020 que decidimos dar el primer paso a elaborar nuestros propios vinos, a querernos un poco más. A través de la elaboración de vinos de mínima intervención, de parcela y que hablan del entorno que nos rodea, buscamos volver a dar vida a Mas de la Sabatera.

Nuestra filosofía en los viñedos se refleja a través de la sostenibilidad y respeto hacia ellos, es por eso que todos nuestros viñedos están certificados ecológicos (CCPAE), no utilizamos riego artificial ni productos químicos nocivos.

En cuanto a nuestra filosofía en la bodega consiste en la mínima intervención, en una elaboración sin ego, donde la uva toma la iniciativa desde el primer momento. Esto se traduce en vinos naturales, que reflejan las características de nuestro terroir y del entorno donde crecen.
