Un Coin Sur Terre "is located in Languedoc, in the small Camargue, in the town of Vauvert (Gard). Originally from Bordeaux I studied there, then traveled a bit (Chile, New Zealand, China ... ), before discovering Gard and Vauvert and settling there with Lane, my wife, originally from Louisiana. A Coin Sur Terre was born thanks to a lot of selflessness but also and above all thanks to a collective of people who accompany us from the start. (crowdfunding, solidarity harvest, between aid ...) Here we seek to enhance our terroir and those who work there. For this we cultivate our vines in Organic Agriculture and wish to move as soon as we can into Biodynamic Agriculture (conversion started in 2019). As with our wines, we try to be the least interventionist possible. Our five grape varieties (Mourvèdre, Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon) aged 7 to 77 are all worked in the same way, with the same care and respect: the basis of everything ... for us! We practice what we like to call a sweet vinification, with a minimum of displacement and without input so as not to brutalize the wines during fermentation. Harvested entirely by hand, our grapes are picked, sorted and then transported in pallet boxes to keep the grapes harvesting and quality. Adding no sulfites we must have very healthy and intact grapes. Once destemmed, the grapes are trodden in small vats. The fermentation processes can then begin ... We seek to produce wines which represent the typicity of our terroir ... whose taste is reminiscent of grape juice and which can be drunk easily ... We make several blends in order to seek different tastes, flavors and feelings, each time highlighting a grape variety (Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan), a percentage of which is the majority in each cuvée.
