The Radoarhof vineyards, partly cultivated for almost 50 years, rise at an altitude between 750 and 900 m a.s.l. and they are among the highest vineyard areas in all of South Tyrol. As members of Bioland, we attach the utmost importance to sustainable agriculture, managed as a closed cycle between soil, plants and nature. This is the philosophy lived day after day at the Radoarhof. The vital organic microcosm of our farm is based on organic preparations based on infusions of wild herbs, a wide variety of species including shrubs and plants, seeds and a specially composted natural fertilizer. Among others, the symbiosis with the rhythms and powerful cycles of nature, such as the different phases of the moon, improves the quality of the soil, also increasing the fertility and longevity of the vines. Depending on the variety, the red and white wines certified organic for 25 years are fresh, light and fruity or noble, decisive and earthy, but also aromatic and intense. Spontaneous sustainable fermentation. When making wine in our organic nectars, we renounce the use of artificial additives, using only small amounts of sulfur, in order to protect the wine from oxidation, which would make it undrinkable. From this natural spontaneous fermentation, in our cellar, mineral and character nectars are born. Depending on the variety, our wines mature for nine months in large oak barrels or steel tanks. Finally, they are bottled and left in the cellar for at least two years. In our traditional bar and in the farm shop you can taste and buy wines along with other typical local specialties.
