Domaine De Fréa is located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, between Bourg and Blaye. The vine has been cultivated there for nearly 2000 years, as evidenced by the numerous Gallo-Roman sites in the area. We have been established on the Domaine since 2019 on an area of 6 hectares of vines including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, planted on clay and gravelly soils. To this are added woods and meadows, precious refuges of biodiversity. Our desire has always been to practice healthy and environmentally friendly agriculture, which is why we work in Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture. In this logic, work on horseback has become obvious. On the wine side, we make it a point of honor to vinify without input, in the most natural way possible. Many projects are underway such as the restoration of a vine hut, planting forgotten local grape varieties, planting an orchard...

Le Domaine De Fréa se situe sur la rive droite de l'estuaire de la Gironde, entre Bourg et Blaye. La vigne y est cultivée depuis près de 2000 ans comme en attestent les nombreux sites gallo-romains alentours.
Nous sommes installés sur le Domaine depuis 2019 sur une superficie de 6 hectares de vignes comprenant du merlot, du cabernet sauvignon ainsi que du sauvignon blanc, plantés sur des sols argileux et graveleux. A cela viennent s'ajouter des bois et des prairies, précieux refuges de biodiversité.

Notre désir a toujours été de pratiquer une agriculture saine et respectueuse de l'environnement, c'est pourquoi nous travaillons en Agriculture Biologique et Biodynamique.
Dans cette logique, le travail à cheval s'est imposé comme une évidence.
Du côté du vin, nous mettons un point d'honneur à vinifier sans intrant, de manière la plus naturelle possible.
De nombreux projets sont en cours comme la restauration d'une cabane de vignes, plantation de cépages locaux oubliés, plantation d'un verger...
