The Domaine des Miquettes was created by Chrystelle Vareille and Paul Estève in 2003. We start with 2300 m of red Saint Joseph. In 2004 we bought the vines from my former boss and took over his rentals. In 2004 the estate now owns 3 hectares of Saint Joseph and 1.3 hectares of vdp Syrah and Viognier.
The vines are conducted in AB the soils are worked by horse, winch and pickaxe according to the plots. The vines are helped and fortified with the help of plants and clay
The wines are vinified as naturally as possible, no technology enters into their production, they are neither fined nor filtered nor yeasted for a greater expression of our terroirs.
Most of the cuvées are aged in amphorae or jars, or according to the Georgian qvevri method.
