Christian, cousin of the Puzelat brothers, chose from his installation in 1988 in Candé-sur-Beuvron to work his 14 hectares of old vines without chemistry and without input, in biodynamics, while simultaneously registering at the wine school of Amboise.
Christian has a very long line of winemakers behind him, his ancestors were in fact farmers in polyculture as was the custom once in the French wine regions, grape growing being then only one of many cultures of the farm.
He grows vines without chemical fertilizers, insecticides or weed killers. He works his soil and maintains biodiversity in his plots. The cellar does not see any input oenological.
