It is not by chance that we arrived at Trausse Minervois. Sometimes you have to know how to listen to yourself ... and that's what Jean Baptiste did in 1995 after long studies in Paris, and a path that did not make him happy. He therefore made the choice to come to Trausse Minervois, family lands on his mother's side, where with a winegrower friend he met during his stays in Audois, he made tests on soils that seemed interesting to him ... and in 1996 he makes his first vintage ... restructures the entire cellar, hires a man who will teach him the trade ... and this is where the adventure begins. Meetings with legendary and generous winegrowers, and reading Jules Chauvet, allow him to understand what he wants to do as wine ... and in the vineyard quickly the choice of Ecocert certified Organic Agriculture. Jean Baptiste in the vineyards and in the cellar, and I ensuring the commercial and administrative part, this is how two Parisians, city dwellers, changed their lives, to live what our life is today: a simple life focused on our profession , our family, the meetings and the love of wine. Every day we tell ourselves that we are lucky to do this job which allows us to live a life rich in sharing, meeting people ... which allows us over the seasons to support our three children in their lives. A life where time is punctuated by the seasons with strong moments such as the harvest of course, or the pruning, a moment allowing reflection and when the next vintage is being prepared ... and moments more focused on marketing. We are fortunate to be in a region where nature is preserved and even though it is a harsh climate, which has rubbed off on the people a little, it is an authentic region.

Ce n'est pas par hasard que nous sommes arrivés à Trausse Minervois. 
Il faut parfois savoir s'écouter... et c'est que Jean Baptiste a fait en 1995 après de longues études parisiennes, et une voie qui ne le rendait pas heureux. Il a donc fait le choix de venir à Trausse Minervois, terres familiales du côté de sa maman, où avec un ami vigneron rencontré pendant ses séjours audois, il a fait des essais sur des terroirs qui lui semblaient intéressants... et en 1996 il fait son premier millésime... restructure toute la cave, embauche un homme qui lui apprendra le métier... et c'est là que l'aventure commence.
Des rencontres avec des vignerons mythiques et généreux, et la lecture de Jules Chauvet, lui permettent de comprendre ce qu'il a envie de faire comme vin... et à la vigne rapidement le choix de l'Agriculture Biologique certifiée Ecocert. 
Jean Baptiste dans les vignes et à la cave, et moi assurant la partie commerciale et administrative, voilà comment deux parisiens, citadins, ont changé de vie, pour vivre ce qu'est notre vie aujourd'hui : une vie simple tournée vers notre métier, notre famille, les rencontres et l'amour du vin. 
Chaque jour nous nous disons que nous avons de la chance de faire ce métier qui nous permet de vivre une vie riche de partage, de rencontres... qui nous permet au fil des saisons d'accompagner nos trois enfants dans leur vie.  
Une vie où le temps est rythmé par les saisons avec des moments forts comme les vendanges bien sûr, ou la taille, moment permettant la réflexion et où le prochain millésime se prépare... et des moments plus axés sur la commercialisation. 
Nous avons la chance d'être dans une région où la nature est préservée et même si c'est un climat rude, qui a un peu déteint sur les gens, c'est une région authentique.
