We cultivate 7 hectares of vines on Villafranchian terraces, on clay-siliceous soil, in the town of Béziers (34) in Occitanie.
All of our vines are certified organic or in organic conversion. We grow traditional Occitanie grape varieties: Carignan, Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache, Servant. We apply certain principles of biodynamics (treatment based on plant decoctions, monitoring of the lunar calendar, etc.).
Two of our hectares were financed via wine crowdfunding. Thanks to around sixty partners, we have been able to develop our vineyard. This operation was carried out thanks to Terra Hominis , a structure specializing in the creation of co-owned vineyards.
On the vineyard side: agro ecology, permaculture, agro-forestry by promoting grass cover (presence of clover, aves to nourish the soil and have a living soil), and by preserving the biodiversity of flora and fauna No plowing of the soil. 100% manual work: pruning and cleaning of the vines, manual harvesting and crushing by foot then pressed with a press (vasselin) and/or ratchet. Phytotherapy (treatment based on plants, essential oils) and sulfur + copper.
Cellar side: vinification using native yeast, without inputs for the entire duration of vinification. Wines neither filtered nor fined. No added sulfur for our reds And 1g added for our white.
No orange wines at the moment.
