We are a family estate, we work on a majority of old vines (the oldest being 118 years old), imprint of the work of 5 generations. We cultivate our vines with passion, in organic farming and biodynamics. Most of our vines are goblet pruned, we strive to take care of our pruning so as not to put too much strain on the stumps in terms of energy, this is the reason why we like that the stump, once pruned, be rid of the parts dry, dead and other discharges. At the end of the pruning of each plot, we usually dig up the weeds with a pickaxe, a tedious job but which bears fruit, which allows us to benefit from a natural grass cover rich in species diversity and free of weeds. competitive weeds such as "slimy inula" or fenugreek. We work the soil lightly (scraping) in the fall after the harvest and in the spring (usually in March or April, it depends on the year, sometimes not at all) using a tractor for the young vines, a chase for the older vines and sometimes on horseback for the very old vines (the centenarians, we have 3) in anticipation of our passage for the biodynamic preparations. We are convinced of the benefits and energies of biodynamic practices which are constantly evolving (the years go by and our practice is expanding with new preparations, the latest being fern maceration, a repellent for grape worms). We appreciate the plant cover and the auxiliaries that compose it, which is why we mow the grass at medium height (protective epidermis of the soil against excess heat). Work in the vineyard is our priority because it is the mirror of our wines. We try to maintain a balance around our vines and develop the presence of auxiliaries and the biotope, for example by installing bat nesting boxes -mouse. Once we have accompanied the fruit until the harvest, we find the same rigorous motivation in the cellar (sorting and cleanliness), we demand to bring only healthy grapes to our cellar because we work without chemical additives except 1G/HL of sulfur when bottling.Our principle is not to distort the wines by filtration and fining, our method: precise racking.Nesting on a sunny terroir, our desire is to create a balance between the character of the wines of the Hautes Corbières with the freshness, the fruit. f

Nous sommes un domaine familial, nous travaillons sur une majorité de vieilles vignes (la plus vieille étant âgée de 118 ans), empreinte du travail de 5 générations.Nous cultivons nos vignes avec passion ,en agriculture biologique et en biodynamie . La plupart de nos vignes sont taillées en gobelet, nous nous efforçons à soigner notre taille de manière à ne pas trop solliciter les souches en terme d’énergie c’est la raison pour laquelle on aime que la souche une fois taillée soit débarrassée des parties sèches, mortes et autres rejets. Au terme de la taille de chaque parcelle nous avons pour habitude de bêcher les mauvaises herbes à la pioche, un travail fastidieux mais qui porte ces fruits,ce qui nous permet de bénéficier d’un enherbement naturel riche en diversité d’espèces et exempt d’adventices concurrentielles tel "inule visqueuse » ou fenugrec.

Nous travaillons les sols légèrement (griffage) à l’automne après les vendanges et au printemps (généralement en Mars ou Avril, cela dépend des années, parfois pas du tout) à l’aide d’un tracteur pour les jeunes vignes, d’un chenillard pour les vignes plus âgées et parfois au cheval pour les très vieilles vignes (les centenaires, nous en avons 3) par anticipation de notre passage pour les préparations biodynamiques. Nous sommes convaincus des bienfaits et  énergies des pratiques biodynamiques qui sont en constantes évolutions (les années se suivent et notre pratique s’étoffe de nouvelles préparations, la dernière en date étant la macération de fougère ,un répulsif pour le vers de grappe). Nous apprécions le couvert végétal et les auxiliaires qui le compose c’est pourquoi nous fauchons l’herbe à hauteur moyenne (épiderme protecteur du sol contre les excès de chaleur).

Le travail à la vigne est pour nous la priorité car il est le miroir de nos vins.Nous essayons de conserver un équilibre autour de nos vignes et de développer la présence des auxiliaires et du biotope,par exemple par l’installation de nichoirs à chauve-souris.
Une fois que nous avons accompagné le fruit jusqu’à la récolte nous trouvons la même motivation de rigueur en cave (le tri et la propreté ), nous exigeons apporter des raisins seulement sains dans notre cave car nous travaillons sans additifs chimiques hormis 1G/HL de soufre à la mise en bouteille.Nous avons pour principe de ne pas dénaturer les vins par filtration et collage, notre méthode : des soutirages précis.Nicher sur un terroir solaire, notre volonté est de créer un équilibre entre le caractère des vins des Hautes Corbières avec  la fraicheur,le fruit.
