We started in 2017 by taking over 0.5 ha of Sangiovese which belonged to the Carlotta family. This plot is separated from the rest and surrounded by a small forest, hence the name Clos (even if we have no wall, we liked the French sounding), Forano is the locality. We work entirely by hand, following the rules of organic farming and adding bio-dynamic preparations. At the moment we are not certified but it is part of our plans. From a single grape variety, we try to diversify by offering: ROvinoSE: a press rosé with a small contact with skins of 4/6 hours. Pet Nat Fever: a natural sparkling wine made from rosé. Bisboccia: a rather light red on the fruit. Methodology : There is no aging on the wines, we work with fiberglass containers, no input, just 1g of SO2 when bottled for rosé (17mg total) and red (25mg total).
