Our low-intervention philosophy, both in the vineyard and winery, allows for nature to remain almost untouched. We maintain biodiversity, recycle all waste and carefully manage water use. We treat our workers as family. At Plavinci, human action is in total harmony with nature. Our certified organic production means no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or synthetic fertilizer on the grapes. We do not use animal manure, only plant compost from our own production. We do not use additives in the process of winemaking. Our wines are fermented with wild yeasts and mature on the lees. We use a small amount of sulfites only at bottling (20-30mg total) for white and rosé. Our orange and red wines are without added sulfites. All wines are unfiltered. All our wines are vegan-safe.
